A credit card is required to hold your appointment time. Because that time is reserved especially for you, please give at least 24 hours’ notice by call or text if you need to reschedule or cancel.
Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice and missed appointments are charged at the full session rate and are non-refundable.
Rachel will guide you through what to expect. Before hands-on work begins, you’ll have time to discuss your goals, relevant health history, and how your body feels that day.
Questions are always welcome. The session is collaborative, and you can share feedback or request changes at any point.
Please arrive 5–10 minutes before your scheduled appointment so you have time to park, find the studio, use the restroom, and complete an intake form if needed. Your appointment time is the start of treatment, not your arrival time.
If you arrive late, Rachel will accommodate where the schedule allows, but the session will still end at the originally scheduled time and the original appointment rate will apply.
As a general guide, 60 minutes works well for focused bodywork on one or two priority areas. A 90-minute appointment provides time for focused work within a fuller-body session. The 75-minute option offers additional breathing room between the two.

For the massage, you may undress to your level of comfort. You will be covered with a sheet and blanket, with professional draping adjusted to support modesty, warmth, and comfort throughout the session.
People seek massage for many reasons, including relaxation, everyday muscular tension, stress support, body awareness, and greater ease of movement. Responses vary, and Rachel will discuss your goals without presenting massage as a substitute for medical care.
Insurance is not accepted at this time.
The studio is appointment-only. Same-day appointments may be available; contact Rachel to ask about the current schedule.
Gratuity is not expected, though it is customary and appreciated. If you choose to leave a tip, 15–25% is customary. Rachel would rather regular massage feel sustainable than have gratuity add stress to your visit.
Referrals, reviews, and cash payments that avoid card-processing fees are also meaningful ways to support the practice.
